Unused energy becomes eXergy - heat that can be put to good use
For example, during circulation operation in hot water networks, more or less high return temperatures are generated depending on the proportion of tapping. Without tapping, the return temperature rises to approx. 55°C. This has a negative effect on the heat generator, regardless of whether it is a condensing boiler, a district heating system, a CHP unit or a solar thermal system.
Conversely, heat is often available at a temperature level that cannot (yet) be used. This is often the case, for example, with waste heat recovery or solar thermal systems with low efficiency (or in transitional periods).
BMS-Energietechnik and varmeco have developed the eXergy machine eXm to avoid such unusable temperature levels.Â
It increases the flow temperature and lowers the return temperature. And the thermal energy increases proportionally with the temperature spread ΔT (Q=c*m*ΔT).
The eXm therefore increases the efficiency of the heating system. You can maintain the desired low return temperatures, maintain high heating temperatures, utilize waste heat and use sources such as local and district heating, boilers, heat pumps, solar modules or CHP units optimally and with low wear.

The eXm increases the temperature spread in the heat storage tank regardless of the current consumption behavior. It increases the efficiency of conventional or hybrid heating systems and minimizes switching cycles.
